I DON’T THINK IT IS A COINCIDENCE … HOW ABOUT YOU?
Floyd Allen, Editor-in-Chief, GOD’S GOOD NEWS GAZETTE
I was surfing the News Feed that I get on the Internet recently, and found a really interesting little article. The “Hook” said, “Top Ten Cities People Want to Flee.” The piece, it turns out, was based on research provided by REDFIN, who discovered that in the 2nd Quarter of 2022, 32.6% of the people who were looking to move were looking to move to a new city altogether. And, as the article’s title indicates, REDFIN had discovered the Top Ten Cities people were leaving. As I read the list, I noticed something that I thought to be true. And, with very little research, I proved that I was right!
First, let me share REDFIN’s List with you:
- San Francisco, California
- Los Angeles, California
- New York, New York
- Washington, D.C.
- Seattle, Washington
- Boston, Massachusetts
- Detroit, Michigan
- Denver, Colorado
- Chicago, Illinois
- Minneapolis, Minnesota
Did you see anything interesting about this List? Now, I know that I am a tad different than most people, so if you don’t notice what I did don’t feel bad. But, I noticed that an awful lot of these cities seemed to be extremely Liberal in nature. So, I decided to see if I could find what the Top Ten Liberal Cities in the U.S. are and, lo and behold, this is what I found:
The top ten most liberal urban areas in the United States, starting with the most liberal city in America, include the following:
- San Francisco, California;
- Washington, District of Columbia;
- Seattle, Washington;
- Oakland, California;
- Boston, Massachusetts;
- Minneapolis, Minnesota;
- Detroit, Michigan;
- New York, New York;
- Buffalo, New York;
- Balitmore, Maryland.
To make the comparison a little easier to decipher, I have “hi-lighted” the cities that appear on both lists in red:
|San Francisco, California||San Francisco, California|
|Los Angeles, California||Washington, DC|
|New York, New York||Seattle, Washington|
|Washington, D.C.||Oakland, California|
|Seattle, Washington||Boston, Massachusetts|
|Boston, Massachusetts||Minneapolis, Minnesota|
|Detroit, Michigan||Detroit, Michigan|
|Denver, Colorado||New York, New York|
|Chicago, Illinois||Buffalo, New York|
|Minneapolis, Minnesota||Baltimore, Maryland|
And there you have it: Seven of the ten most Liberal cities in the country are also on the ten most vacated cities in the country list! It seems to me that if the Liberal attitudes and practices that these cities are advocating are so wonderful that folks would be flocking into them, not out of them! The reality is that the type of Liberalism that is currently being promoted leads to Anarchy, and Anarchy does not lead to the American dream.
The GOOD NEWS is that the ailments of the nation, and its cities, can be healed at the Ballot Box. I will be most anxious to see what the November elections will reveal, and to the healing of our land so that we can once again be “One Nation, Under God!”
