As a kid I was always amazed that Solomon was told that he could have anything and he chose Wisdom. As I got older, however, I started to understand the heart of Solomon a little better! He knew that, as King of Israel, he would be called upon to make monumental decisions and would need all the Wisdom he could muster up!
Though we don’t rule kingdoms, we do rule our own lives, and, like Solomon, we need to recognize that “nothing can be compared to Wisdom.”
